Annetta publishes permit applications for new homes and remodels, accessory units, ADUs, single-trade permits, pools and spas, irrigation/backflow, approaches, propane connections, generators, demolition, solicitor permits, and platting.

Permit validity

The most recent inspection keeps a permit active for another 6 months.

Owner-builder

Final inspection is required whether work is by contractor or homeowner.

Contractor requirements

All new and previously registered contractors must complete the contractor registry form and submit it with the permit application.

   Review zoning ordinance, building code ordinance, and engineering design manual before submitting.

   Assemble the complete permit packet, plans, contractor registrations, and checklist materials.

   Submit PDF files by email to permits@annettatx.gov.

   Town sends the package to Bureau Veritas for plan review if needed; this may take up to 10 days once Bureau Veritas receives it.

   Pay permit fees.
6. 06
   Receive permit and complete required inspections.

   Obtain a passing final inspection; all issued permits require final inspection whether work is by contractor or homeowner.

Typical processing time: Up to 10 days for Bureau Veritas plan review after receipt.
