When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Midland (Martin County Portion)

- 04 City staff reviews application completeness and routes to appropriate departments for plan review.
- 05 Respond to any review comments and obtain approval notification by email.
- 06 Pay the remaining 75% of the fee. A bonded contractor must be listed on the permit before issuance.
- 07 Receive permit number and post visibly on the job site.
- 08 Schedule and complete required inspections.
- 09 Obtain final approval and Certificate of Occupancy where applicable.
