When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Granbury
Granbury publishes permit applications for building, accessory structures, fences, demolition, pools and spas, driveways and approaches, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, signs, tree removal, and other work. Permits are required for covered construction unless exempt under the adopted codes.
Note: No city-authored exempt-work list was found on reviewed public pages. Granbury states it enforces the adopted 2021 code series and NEC 2020, so any exemptions should be verified against the adopted code text and city amendments before relying on them.
