When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Bronte
A building permit is required for new buildings, additions, cargo or shipping containers, recreational vehicles, and manufactured homes.

- 2000 International Residential Code for One and Two Family Dwellings (Ordinance 345, effective December 31, 2001)
- Permit validity
- Permits expire six months after approved date. If the project has not started within six months, the applicant must reapply to extend the permit.
