Application Process

  1. Before construction, submit project information to the city.
  2. Provide owner name, location, occupancy, materials, plumbing, wiring, roofing, chimney and flue construction, type of heat, estimated cost, estimated completion time, and contractor name.
  3. For zoning-related permits, file a scaled site plan in duplicate showing lot dimensions, building location, use, and accessory structures.
  4. Pay the applicable permit fees per the city fee schedule.
  5. Obtain required inspections from the Building Official or applicable trade inspector.
