When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Seymour
Seymour adopted the 2006 IBC, 2006 IRC, 2015 International Property Maintenance Code, 2020 NFPA Fire Prevention Code, 2020 IECC, and 2020 NFPA Electrical Code. These provisions control construction, alteration, removal, demolition, equipment, use, occupancy, location, and maintenance of buildings and structures within city limits. - 06 If the site is in the floodplain district, flood damage prevention requirements apply and no building permit may issue until deed restrictions in favor of the city are executed.
