  1. Obtain approved zoning permit from City of Tillamook Planning Department (First Step)
  2. Submit approved zoning permit with building permit application to Tillamook County Community Development (Second Step)
  3. Schedule appointment with Tillamook County for building permit submittal
  4. Submit complete application (incomplete applications not accepted)
  5. City Planning reviews for consistency with City Code and comprehensive plan
  6. Upon permit issuance, pick up permit within 5 business days or it will be mailed
  7. Schedule inspections as needed

Permit validity
180-day permit validity applies. First approved inspection must occur within 180 days or permit expires. Each approved inspection extends permit another 180 days.
