When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Seminole
City states building permits are required to construct, enlarge, alter, structurally repair, move, demolish, change occupancy, erect signs, or install/alter fire extinguishing apparatus, elevators, swimming pools, or plan checking.

Application process
Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final

- 02 Fill out the permit application with property owner, property location, type of improvement, drawing, and cost of improvement.
- 03 Pay the fee; city says price depends on the type of improvement.
- 04 City reviews, then inspections are handled by Code Enforcement.
