Town website publishes permit forms for building, minor building, commercial building, sign, and demolition permits.

Building code

Verdigris forms require compliance with all Town of Verdigris, Rogers County Health Department, and other pertinent codes and regulations, specifically referencing Verdigris Ordinances 2007-01 and 2007-02.

Permit validity

Permit work must begin within 90 days and permit expires one year from date of issue.

Owner-builder

Forms place compliance responsibility on the owner and applicant but do not publish a separate owner-builder rule.

Contractor requirements

Forms collect contractor and subcontractor information; separate town permit page does not publish a stand-alone contractor licensing policy.

   Confirm zoning and lot conditions with Verdigris Planning and Zoning.

   Download the correct permit form for new construction, remodel, pools and add-ons, minor trade work, commercial work, sign work, or demolition.

   Submit the completed permit form with the required copies of site plan and building plans noted on the application.

   Pay the listed minimum permit fee and any inspection fees.
5. 05
   Start work only after approval and call inspections at the posted inspection number.
6. 06
   Complete rough, top-out, and final inspections before occupancy approval.
