When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Deerfield Township
Any new construction including sheds, additions, and pools requires a zoning certificate. Zoning permits also required for: fences, retaining walls, patios, concrete pads, driveways, signs, and other listed work types.
Note: The township does not publish a consolidated exemption list. The township states when zoning certificates are required and provides project-specific applications and handouts.
