Building permits are required for new construction, additions, and major renovations within the City of Beach.

• Exempt Agricultural buildings (subject to North Dakota State Building Code exemptions)
• Exempt Minor renovations not significantly altering property footprint or use
• Exempt Temporary structures
• Exempt Structures specifically exempted by city ordinance
