When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Harrisburg
The town requires permits for new single-family homes, residential accessory uses (pools, sheds, decks, retaining walls, driveway extensions), temporary use, demolition, signs, home occupation, business clearance, residential additions, zoning verification letters, grading and encroachment, golf carts, solicitation, and special events.

Application process
Typical processing: Special event applications must be submitted at least 30 days before the event date.
