When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Italy
Building permits are required for any work that must conform to the NYS Uniform Code and/or Energy Code, including construction, enlargement, alteration, improvement, removal, relocation, or demolition of any building or structure, and installation of solid fuel-burning heating appliances. Small detached structures under 144 sq ft are exempt.
