When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Caledonia
A building permit is required for all construction within the Village of Caledonia.
Note: Architect or engineer stamp and signature are required for residential construction over $20,000, new single-family dwellings, additions totaling 1,500 square feet, changes of occupancy, and all commercial construction. Dig Safely New York notice is required before excavation.
