When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Gallup
Building permits required for new construction, additions, structural alterations, demolitions, changes of occupancy, and all electrical, plumbing, and mechanical installations. Also required for roofing, fencing over specified height, decks, accessory structures, signs, and other work as specified in city codes and ordinances. - City of Gallup adopts NM state building codes as required, with any locally adopted amendments per city ordinance.
