Permit triggers and exempt work for Red Banks

- Contractor requirements
- Electrical, mechanical, and plumbing contractors must be licensed with the Mississippi State Board of Contractors (MSBOC) and must have their license number available at the time of the permitting appointment.

- 01 Determine the zoning use of the property by contacting the Zoning office at (662) 252-3663 with property owner name or parcel number.
- 02 Schedule an appointment prior to plan review by calling (662) 252-3663. Appointments are required before plan review.
- 03 Submit the completed permit application through the online GeoPermits portal or in person at 545 JM Ash Drive, Holly Springs, MS 38635.
- 04 Provide required documentation: site plans, construction documents, property legal description, and contractor license numbers for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work.
- 05 Submit payment in full before scheduling inspections. Payment is required prior to inspection scheduling.
- 06 Receive permit and begin construction in compliance with adopted codes.
- 07 Schedule required inspections through the online portal or by calling (662) 252-3663 with at least 24-hour notice.
