When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Warren

- Exempt Ordinary repairs and finish work that do not change structure or regulated systems.
Note: Warren publishes a "List of items that require a Building Permit" rather than a consolidated exempt-work list. Warren-specific confirmation is recommended for edge cases.

- Contractor requirements
- Contractors use separate BS&A contractor account creation and contractor inspection flows; Warren also requires annual sign-erector registration for sign work.
