When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Morehead
Permits cover all work governed by the adopted Kentucky Building Code and Kentucky Residential Code, including new construction, renovations, and electrical installations; the code runs citywide.
Note: The code of ordinances and portal do not publish a standalone exempt-work list, so the assumption is that any work altering the structure, electrical, or occupancy requires a permit.
