Owner-builder

Owner-builders must follow KHBC owner-builder registration requirements.

Contractor requirements

Contractors must be licensed as required by KHBC for each trade.

   Call Pat Rhodes (270-339-4188) or the health department at 270-928-2193 ext. 5 to confirm that the work needs a permit and ask what documents are required.

   Deliver or email the requested site plan, code compliance narrative, and any trade-specific drawings directly to the inspector's office at the Livingston County Health Department.
3. 03
   Pay the required permit (local or state) once the scope is approved; commercial scopes must be submitted through KHBC as noted on the inspector list.
4. 04
   Schedule inspections through the local inspector when each phase is ready.
