When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Hickman
All new buildings, additions, major structural remodels, structural repairs and demolition require a permit (same triggers as Fulton).

- 04 Deliver the documents and payment to Fulton's Building Code Enforcement office at 340 Browder Street for review under the 2013 Kentucky Building Code.
- 05 Once the review is complete, the permit is issued by Fulton's Building Inspector.
- 06 Schedule the staged inspections (footing, foundation, framing, occupancy, etc.) through the Fulton number.
- 07 Keep the permit posted for electrical crews during inspections.
