When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Vigo County
New construction, work that adds square footage, and work requiring building, electric, plumbing, or demolition permits under county enforcement
- Permit application, state approved plans for commercial work, design release, and Improvement Location Permit materials when applicable

Application process
Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
