Permit triggers and exempt work for Yorktown
Zoning compliance permit is required for structures over 144 sq ft, any structure under 144 sq ft with a permanent foundation, relocation over 144 sq ft, additions, demolition, structural alterations, change in use, and expansion of land use; all fences require a permit.

- 02 For land-disturbing projects, secure sediment and erosion control approval from Muncie Sanitary District Stormwater Management.

- 04 Obtain the zoning compliance permit before starting work.
- 05 Schedule required inspections with the Building Commissioner during construction.
- 06 Pass final inspection and obtain certificate of occupancy before occupancy where required.
