Application → plan check → issuance → inspection → final
- 01 Download the blank building permit application.
- 02 Prepare a parcel drawing showing existing structures, the new structure, setback measurements, streets, and water meter location.
- 03 Include footing and foundation drawings with dimensions.
- 04 For commercial and industrial construction, provide plans and specifications signed and sealed by an Illinois registered design professional.
- 05 Bring the completed package to 431 W. Gallatin St. or email it to the Building Official.
- 06 Building Official review and inspection follow before approval.
