When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Kuna

- 03 For planning/zoning applications: email P&Z Application Coversheet to pzapplications@kunaid.gov to receive upload link.
- 04 Submit building permit application through iWorQ portal or in person at 751 W. 4th Street.
- 05 Pay building submittal fees (applied toward total permit cost).
- 06 Plans are reviewed by the Building Department.
- 07 Permit is issued; pick up within 180 days of issuance or permit will be voided.
- 08 Post permit card on site; keep approved plans on site at all times.
- 09 Schedule inspections through iWorQ portal by 4:00 p.m. the previous business day.
- 10 Complete all required inspections.
- 11 At Final inspection, scope of work, valuation, and permit fees are verified.
- 12 Final inspection and permit closeout.
