Application Process

  1. Determine permit type: structural (submit to Garden City) or MEP mechanical/electrical/plumbing (submit directly to Idaho DBS/DOPL at dbs.idaho.gov).

  • Painting, flooring, cabinets, countertops, wall coverings (no structural work)
