Permit triggers and exempt work for Mitchell County

- 04 Assemble the county's required documents, including well and/or septic permit if applicable, driveway permit if applicable, site plan, house plans or sketch, and contractor business license and state card information for the applicable trades.
- 05 Submit the application and supporting documents to Mitchell County Building and Zoning and pay the required fees.
- 06 Schedule inspections with at least 24-hour notice. The county brochure and permit application identify foundation, rough-in, and final inspections as the standard sequence.
