• Exempt Lawn irrigation repair/maintenance that keeps sprinklers in the same location

Contractor requirements

All contractors and subcontractors must submit a complete permit packet including insurance and state license documentation.

   Confirm the property is inside Williston city limits.

   Register through the city's online portal if using the online workflow.

   Submit the permit request and attach the permit application and supporting documentation, or email permit materials in PDF format as instructed by the city.

   Provide full permit packets, including insurance and license materials for all contractors and subcontractors.

   Submit paper plans in person when plan review requires two copies.

   Pay fees before final inspection.

   Request inspections by email and obtain final approval.
