Two sets of proposed plans and two sets of existing plans. Structural work needs a Colorado licensed design professional stamp. IRC projects may use either a Colorado licensed architect or structural engineer for structural drawings; IBC projects require a structural engineer for structural drawings and a Colorado licensed architect for architectural drawings. Digital stamps are acceptable when applicable.

Owner-builder: The owner of a residential property may apply as an owner/builder. Electrical and plumbing work on a homeowner permit must be performed by Colorado state licensed trades and cannot be done by the owner.
