When a permit is required
Permit triggers and exempt work for Heber Springs

- 01 Start by confirming whether work needs a permit and collecting required submittals.
- 02 Submit by visiting the Planning and Zoning Division at 1001 W Main St or via the online permit portal.
- 03 New construction and additions require a site plan and plans including elevations, floor plans, plumbing, and electrical.
- 04 Remodels require before and after floor plans of the entire house with room labels, door and window sizes, and locations of new or moved electrical and plumbing.
- 05 Trade permits are separate from the building permit and are pulled by the contractor doing the work.
