Permit fee formula

Building valuation based on ICC Building Valuation Data (February 2023 issue with 1.03 annual cost modifier starting 2025). Single-wide mobile homes: 2 hour base fee; Double-wide: 3 hour base fee.

Payment note

State Building Code Council Surcharge: $6.50 per building permit, plus $2.00 each dwelling unit, $25.00 for commercial. Revision Fee: One hour of staff time. Refund: Up to 70% if no review or work done; written request within 90 days required. Investigation Fee: Charged when work started prior to permit issuance.
