Important: Jefferson County has two separate permit authorities. Properties within the City of Port Townsend are served by the City's Planning and Community Development department. All other properties in unincorporated Jefferson County are served by the County's Department of Community Development. Determine your jurisdiction before applying — using the wrong authority will delay your permit.
