Application Process

1. Download the building or trade permit application from the town Document Center.
2. Submit one electronic copy and one hard copy of plans, the completed application, required licenses, and payment.
3. Deliver materials by email, drop box, mail, or in person at Town Hall, Suite 200.
4. Respond to any plan review comments from the town.
5. After permit issuance, schedule required inspections by email.

Required before construction, repair, alteration, addition, footing and foundation work, demolition, change-of-occupancy work, asbestos disturbance, and retaining walls supporting 2 feet or more of unbalanced fill or surcharge according to the town building-permit guidance.
