Application Process

  1. Create an account or log in to the Town's self-service portal.
  2. Use the Decision Engine if needed to identify the right permit or plan application.
  3. Submit the permit or plan application digitally through the portal. All plans must be submitted digitally through the self-service portal.
  4. If internet access is an issue, go to Town Hall's 2nd floor during business hours for staff assistance.
  5. Building Inspections reviews the submission. Commercial buildings and structures require third-party plan review, including MEP, sprinkler, and fire alarm.
  6. After permit issuance, schedule inspections through the self-service portal.
  7. Complete inspections, final inspection, and certificate of occupancy as applicable.

Typical processing time: No general permit turnaround is posted on the current portal and building pages.
