Owner-builder
Homeowners may act as owner-builders for their own primary residence under Nevada NRS 624.031. Must complete Owner-Builder Affidavit of Exemption. Cannot sell or lease within 1 year of completion. Must directly supervise all work. All subcontractors must be NSCB-licensed. Must comply with all employer tax and insurance requirements.
