Application Process

  2. Download the building permit application from the village website or pick up at Village Hall.
  3. If a contractor is performing the work, the contractor must apply for the permit. Contractor must be licensed by the Village of Manteno before permit will be issued.

  5. Submit in person at 98 East Third Street or by email to ynugent@villageofmanteno.com.
  6. Processing time: approximately 24 hours (call ahead to verify permit is ready).
  7. Inspections will not be scheduled until permit is picked up and inspection sheet is signed by homeowner or contractor.
