  3. For village-issued permits (fences, chicken coops, window replacements): submit a permit application to the Village Clerk including intent statement, plans, contractor information with proof of insurance, and project timeline.
  4. Pay applicable fees.
  5. Permit is valid for 1 year from issuance.
  6. Inspections must be arranged and conducted before, during, and after project completion. Inspection timing is determined before the permit is issued.
  7. NOTE: If work begins without a permit, B&F Construction Code Services will issue a Stop Work Order.
