General Requirements
Hampton states a permit is required before work begins and specifically lists new buildings, remodels, roofing, window replacement, accessory buildings, demolition, pools, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, signs, tree removal, emergency RV permits, and utility encroachment permits. Permits are required for construction, erection, moving, or alteration where the estimated cost exceeds $300.
