Application Process

  1. Download the applicable permit form from Lula's Permits/Forms page, including the Building Permit form and Sub Contractor Affidavit.
  2. Print and complete the forms. Lula's permit page says documents must be printed and mailed to P.O. Box 99, Lula, GA 30554 or delivered to Lula City Hall; email submission is not accepted.
  3. Submit the completed application packet with the required fees and any subcontractor affidavits. Hall County impact fees are validated separately by Hall County and are not collected by the city.
  4. Receive permit issuance from the city before starting work.
  5. The general contractor calls in inspections. The Sub Contractor Affidavit must be in the office at least 24 hours before requesting an inspection.
  6. Complete required inspections and obtain certificate of occupancy where applicable.
