Application Process

  1. Determine project scope and review the relevant Wakulla County checklist in the Building Department Document Center.
  2. If applying online, use the CitizenServe portal (fastest submission method).
  3. If you are a contractor and have never registered in Wakulla County, register with the Building Department before creating an online account.
  4. Submit a complete application package (incomplete applications cannot be processed).
  5. Track the permit through CitizenServe. Once issued, print the building-inspection job card from the Documents tab and post it visibly at the construction site.
