Plan submittal fees: $350 for projects over $200,000, $175 for projects under $200,000, $100 for projects under $100,000, $175 for tenant improvements. Revisions to single-family permits: 1% of construction value with $20 minimum. Re-stamp single-family plans: $100. Reinspection fee: $100, doubles after first reinspection.

Important: Very few construction projects are exempt. Sewall's Point publishes a building department FAQ that tracks Florida code exemptions and emergency repair rules. Ordinary minor repairs require approval of the building official and may not include structural, egress, piping, wiring, mechanical, or other public-safety-affecting work. Emergency repair permit applications must be submitted the next working business day.
