Application Process
- Confirm the parcel is inside Bristol city limits rather than in unincorporated Liberty County.
- Contact City Hall or the building inspector for current submittal instructions, required supporting documents, fee calculation, and payment options.
- For development projects, submit the city's Development Permit Application before beginning any work.
- Use the city's iWorQ portal to select the correct permit type: single-family, supplemental, development, mobile home, or electrical/mechanical.
- Search for the property and contractor in the portal, complete the application, upload required files, sign, and submit.
- Schedule inspections through City Hall or directly with the building inspector during regular business hours.

- Trade permit fee
- Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, gas, mechanical (new and supplemental): $75.00 each
