Application Process
- Confirm the parcel is in unincorporated Hardee County and not inside Bowling Green, Wauchula, or Zolfo Springs city limits.
- Identify whether the project needs only a building permit, or also separate planning / development approvals such as a site development plan, rezoning, variance, special exception, temporary use permit, or sign certificate.

- Obtain inspections and final approval. The county carefully inspects completed work for code compliance.
