General Requirements

A permit is required to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert, or replace regulated electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing systems, per FBC Section 105.1 and local land-use and floodplain ordinances.
