General Requirements
Building permits and zoning clearance permits are required in unincorporated areas of Yavapai County for buildings, structures, grading, and related work.
- Permit validity
- An approved inspection showing substantial progress is required at least every 180 days or the permit may expire. A six-month extension may be available through CitizenServe, and a second six-month extension may also be available.
