Arizona Updated March 2026

Important: Yavapai County issues building permits for properties in unincorporated areas of the county. If your property is inside an incorporated city or town (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Sedona, Chino Valley, Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Cottonwood, Dewey-Humboldt, Jerome, or Wickenburg), select your jurisdiction below — that municipality's building department handles your permits, not the county. Note: Tribal lands (including Yavapai-Apache Nation lands) are under tribal jurisdiction and are not covered by county or municipal permits.
