Application Process
- Obtain a site plan identifying the property.
- Prepare construction plans conforming to Navajo County's adopted 2018 IRC and IBC based codes and 2017 NEC.
- Obtain proof of approved septic system or sanitary-district release.
- Submit permit application with site plan, construction plans, and septic proof to Navajo County Planning and Development Services.
- Applications are reviewed by Flood Control and the Building Department.
- Permits expire if work does not commence within 180 days or if more than 180 days pass between inspections.
