Application Process
- Complete the building permit application form (covers building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and demolition permits).
- Prepare building plans and a plot or site plan showing property lines, setbacks, existing and proposed structures, utilities, easements, washes, embankments, and roadway/right-of-way conditions.
- Submit septic permit status and licensed contractor information if applicable.
- Submit the permit application with all required documents to Town of Parker Community Development.
- Town staff reviews the application and construction plans.
- Building Inspector verifies the application and plans.
- Permit processing should generally be allowed 5 to 7 working days.
- Schedule inspections at least 24 hours in advance.

General Requirements
A building permit is required for new residential construction, new commercial construction, manufactured/mobile home placement, additions, garages, sheds, awnings, decks, carports, pools and spas, retaining walls, block walls, and fences over 6 feet. Demolition, electrical, plumbing, gas-line, and mechanical work also require permits.
