Application Process
- Download the Building Permit Application from https://waynecountyutah.gov/documents or pick it up in person at the Wayne County Courthouse.
- Consult the Wayne County Administrative Manual for the complete checklist of required materials and submittal requirements.
- Prepare required supporting documents: water approval letter or private well permit, wastewater feasibility study (septic approval), road encroachment permit if applicable, plot plan/site plan, and construction drawings.

General Requirements
Any new construction, addition, alteration, repair, demolition, relocation, or change of occupancy of a building or structure requires a building permit.
