Application Process

  1. Contact Kanarraville Town Clerk Heidi Loveland at 435-867-1852 to be placed on the Planning and Zoning agenda and/or Town Board agenda for local approval.
  2. Obtain Planning and Zoning approval and Kanarraville Town Board approval for the proposed project.
  3. After receiving local approval, submit a building permit application to Iron County Building Department at 82 N 100 E Suite 102 (in person) or through ironcounty.cityinspect.com (online).
  4. Iron County reviews plans and issues building permits under Iron County's fee schedule and requirements.
  5. All inspections are conducted by Iron County Building Department inspectors.

General Requirements

A building permit is required for any structural, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical work. Same requirements as unincorporated Iron County apply, plus local Planning and Zoning and Town Board approval required before Iron County permit application.
