Application Process

  1. Determine the township zoning authority, if any. Wood County's zoning-board list states local zoning approval is required before filing a building-permit application for residential or commercial projects.
  2. Obtain any required township zoning permit, and also obtain sewer, water-tap, or septic approvals where required.
  3. Select the correct Wood County permit application and prepare the submittal package.   7. After issuance, keep approved plans at the job site, call for required inspections, complete corrections as needed, and obtain final approval or certificate of occupancy/completion where applicable.
